ARE YOU IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT OF YOUR CAREER?

Cynthia Hansen and Lorraine Gray, one of our Mentor and Mentee duos, will join us for a conversation with Sherri Stevens, Owner and CEO of WXN, about the kinds of support they’ve both received through WXN’s Wisdom Mentoring program – and how they’ve had each other’s back every step of the way.

There’s a lot in life that we can’t control. And sometimes it feels like we’re just along for the ride. But there are just as many things that we can control – including our careers and how we build them.

This webinar is a reminder that you – and nobody else – are in the driver’s seat. That you have the power to:

  • Figure out where you are and where you want to go
  • Map out a career journey that’ll get you where you’re going
  • Take actionable steps to make that journey happen
Most importantly, it’s a reminder that although you’re in control, you don’t need to make the trip alone. So join us, along with one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Mentors and their Mentees, as we explore what it’s like to set out on the open road of your career with a little help from someone who’s been there before.

WOW - Words of Wisdom

What’s mentorship really all about? Our new Words of Wisdom webinar series lets you learn from the best!

  • What does a mentor actually do?
  • What’s it like to have one?
  • When do you need one?
  • What can they teach you?
  • Where do you find one – and how do you find the right one?

If you’re thinking of finding a mentor, becoming a mentor or just curious about mentorship in general, you’re in luck… because we’ve been doing this kind of thing for a while now through our Wisdom Mentoring™ program that pairs mentees up with WXN's Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100™ Award Winners who are at the top of their fields.

And, like a good mentor, they’re ready to share some of the knowledge they’ve gained along the way.

Starting in July, we’re introducing Words of Wisdom, a webinar series that gives you a sneak peek into the practice of mentorship.

Join Sherri Stevens, Owner and CEO of WXN, as she speaks with Top 100 mentors and mentees about their shared experiences, the wisdom they’ve gained together and how mentorship has helped both sides reach new heights.

You’ll learn more than just the basics of mentorship. We will dive into topics like exploring your unique DNA, the importance of mentorship, taking control of your career and building your professional network. Also, you don’t want to miss a special conversation with Melissa McCrae, Executive Director, Segal Graduate Programs, SFU Beedie School of Business who leads our Wisdom Program across Canada.  Plus meet our Wisdom Top 100 Mentors for 2021! …. and so much more!
